What is a Snapchat story viewer?
It's a web page that shows a public Snapchat account's stories, highlights and Spotlight posts without going through the Snapchat app. You don't need an account of your own, so it works on any phone, tablet or computer that has a browser.
What you can watch
- Stories: whatever the account has posted in the last 24 hours, newest first
- Highlights: story albums the creator chose to keep on their profile
- Spotlight: the short videos they've posted to Spotlight
Downloading Snapchat stories
Every snap has its own download button. If you want the whole story, use Save all and you get one ZIP file with every photo and video in it. What it can't do
- Show private accounts. Only content the account has made public is available.
- Bring back expired stories. Once a story is gone from Snapchat after 24 hours, it's gone here too, unless it was saved to a highlight.
- Show chats, snaps sent to friends or anything behind a login.

- Yes. Search a public username or paste a share link and watch or download stories, highlights and Spotlight in your browser. There's no account, payment or app install.
- Do I need to log in to Snapchat to use it?
- No. You never enter a Snapchat username or password on this site. Type the public username you want to view and its public content loads.
- Do I need my own Snapchat account to use this?
- No. The tool doesn't connect to your Snapchat account at all. It loads a public account's public content, the same way a browser loads any public web page.
- Can I download Snapchat stories, not just watch them?
- Yes. Open a profile and tap the save button on a single snap, or use "Save all stories" to download the whole active story as one ZIP file.
- Does this work for Snapchat highlights and Spotlight too?
- Yes. Every public profile has separate tabs for Stories, Highlights and Spotlight, and you can watch and download from all three.
- What if the account I search for is private?
- Only public Snapchat accounts can be viewed this way. To see a private account, the owner has to accept your friend request in the Snapchat app. That's Snapchat's privacy rule, not a limit of this tool.
- Can I paste a Snapchat link instead of typing a username?
- Yes. Paste a public story, highlight or Spotlight link into the search box and it opens automatically.
